  • Tree Service Companies (“Business Users”) : companies and professionals who register for and use the Arboleads platform directly.
  • End Customers (“Customers”) : individuals whose information is entered into the platform by Business Users, such as homeowners receiving tree service estimates.

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

  • Business User account information: business name, contact name, email address, phone number, billing information.
  • Estimate and job data: customer names, property addresses, job descriptions, pricing, and related service details entered by Business Users.
  • Communications: messages or inquiries submitted to our support team.

2.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage data: pages visited, features used, time spent on the platform, and interaction logs.
  • Device and technical data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies: used to maintain sessions and improve platform functionality.

3. How We Use Your Information

3.1 Platform Operations

We use collected information to provide, maintain, and improve the Arboleads platform, including processing estimates, generating reports, and supporting Business Users.

3.2 Aggregated Data and Commercial Reports

We may use data collected through the platform to create aggregated, anonymized industry reports and insights. THIS IS AN IMPORTANT DISCLOSURE:

  • We may analyze and compile data across all platform users to identify trends such as average service pricing, regional demand, seasonal patterns, and other industry metrics.
  • These reports and insights may be offered commercially to third parties such as industry analysts, suppliers, insurers, or other businesses.
  • Aggregated data used in reports will never identify or be traceable to any individual person, specific business, or specific customer.
  • No raw data, personal information, or identifiable business records will be sold or shared with third parties.

3.3 Platform Improvement

Usage data helps us improve features, fix issues, and personalize the experience for Business Users.

3.4 Communications

We may use your email to send account-related notices, product updates, and (with your consent) marketing communications. You may opt out of marketing emails at any time.

Data We Do Not Share

We are committed to the following limitations on data sharing:

  • We do not sell personal information of any individual, including End Customers.
  • We do not share raw business records or specific estimate data with any third party.
  • We do not share Customer names, addresses, or contact details with outside parties.
  • We do not rent or trade email lists.

We may share data only in these limited circumstances: (a) with service providers who help us operate the platform under strict confidentiality agreements; (b) if required by law, court order, or government authority; (c) in connection with a merger or acquisition, with notice to users.

Business User Responsibilities

If you are a Business User who enters customer data into the Arboleads platform, you represent and warrant that:

  • You have obtained any necessary consent from your customers to input their information into a third-party platform.
  • You are responsible for notifying your customers that their information may be processed by Arboleads in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
  • You will not input sensitive personal information beyond what is necessary for estimate and job management purposes.

Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Business Users may request deletion of their account and associated data by contacting us at privacy@arboleads.com. Upon a valid deletion request, we will remove personally identifiable data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Note that aggregated, anonymized data derived from your usage is not subject to deletion requests as it contains no personally identifiable information.

Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

  • Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
  • Correction: Request correction of inaccurate data.
  • Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.

The Arboleads platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed at individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors.

Changes To This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify Business Users of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
